St. Paul’s Institute for Reproductive Health and Rights (SPIRHR) in collaboration with St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) has accumulated experience of planning and offering various trainings to health professionals in various fields. The establishment of CPD center provides an opportunity to pull resources to conduct more cycles of trainings and events in various areas of sexual and reproductive health and contribute its part to the continuing professional developing efforts. It is recommended that all trainings should be standardized to improve the quality of training courses provided and SPIRHR is well positioned to developing standardized materials. Moreover, providing CPD enables SPIRHR to become a knowledge source to various stakeholders. The CPD accredited training courses, workshops and events (such as annual symposia) allow professionals to use the learning time towards individual CPD requirements.
