Completed his undergraduate medical study at Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. Practiced medicine for nearly 4 years before completing a 3 years masters program in computer science at HiLCoE School of Computer Science & Technology. Begin writing computer programs 14 years back and have been doing it since. Developed/worked on more than a dozen software systems, including open source software, with varying levels of complexity for different domains using a diverse set of technologies, frameworks and collaborative tools.
