The academic pillar of SPIRHR recently conducted a training on post placental intrauterine copper device(PPIUCD) insertion training for residents of SPHMMC Ob/Gyn residents and midwives. The trainings were held in 2 cohorts for ObGyn residents and in 3 cohorts for the midwives. The training was successful in equipping the trainees with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to provide PPIUCD for women who would like to use them.
