The St. Paul Institute for Reproductive Health and Rights (SPIRHR) remains committed to improving the quality of sexual and reproductive health services. As part of this dedication, the clinical service pillar of SPIRHR has initiated a Quality Improvement (QI) Project Proposals callout, aligning with its annual plan. This initiative specifically targets Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty and residents, encouraging them to form groups and submit proposals within designated thematic areas.
A total of nine QI proposal titles and documents were submitted in response to the callout. To support these efforts, a specialized QI training session was conducted by Mr. Nebiyou Hailemariam, a seasoned quality expert and trainer. This training provided both residents and faculty members with hands-on exercises and valuable materials aimed at enhancing the quality of their proposed projects.
Moving forward, the teams will focus on implementing their proposed projects throughout the year, with the goal of significantly improving the quality of sexual and reproductive health services provided. This initiative underscores SPIRHR’s dedication to fostering continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare delivery.
